Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD)

The Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Program (PTSD) is accredited by the Australian Centre for Posttraumatic Mental Health (ACPMH). It is comprised of a combination of psychoeducation and psychotherapy delivered in both a group setting and in individual counselling sessions.
 
The Program is structured as a 28-day program, five hours per day, two days per week with a one-week live-in phase. Modules include:
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Anger
  • Trauma recovery
  • Alcohol use
  • Healthy lifestyle
  • Communication
  • Partners’ sessions

What are the costs?
Private health insurance is recommended. Funding may be provided by other agencies such as Workcover insurers (WC), Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) and the Transport Accident Commission (TAC). Self funded clients are also welcome.
