Shareholder Communication Strategy
Aims
Healthscope’s aims are:
- To provide shareholders with accurate, relevant and timely information to enable them to exercise their rights as shareholders in an informed manner; and
- To provide to potential investors and other interested stakeholders with equal and timely access to information about the Company.
Strategy Measures
Measures adopted by Healthscope to achieve these aims include:
- The adoption of a Continuous Disclosure Policy which complies with ASX Listing Rule disclosure requirements and for which the Company Secretary is responsible;
- Placement of all relevant announcements made to the market, and related information, including copies of presentations made at analysts or media briefings, on Healthscope’s company website;
- Placement of the full text of notices of meetings and explanatory material on the company website;
- Access to at least three years press releases and financial data on the Company website;
- Hard copy mail is used in relation to communications such as the Annual and Half Year Reports, and Notice of General Meeting; and
- The external auditor is requested to attend the Annual General Meeting to be available to answer shareholder questions about the conduct of the audit and the content of the auditor’s report.
