Healthscope provides private hospital, medical centre and pathology services in every state and territory of Australia. Healthscope also operates an expanding network of pathology services in New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.
Healthscope was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1994. In October 2010 Healthscope was acquired by Asia Pacific Healthcare Group Pty Ltd a company owned by funds advised and managed by The Carlyle Group and TPG Capital.

Healthscope Hospitals
Healthscope operates over 4,500 inpatient beds in 33 acute hospitals, 4 dedicated mental health hospitals and 4 rehabilitation facilities across every state of Australia. Healthscope also manages 3 acute hospitals on behalf of the ACHA Group in South Australia. An uncompromising focus on high quality clinical outcomes, systems, processes, staff, equipment and facilities has seen Healthscope become an industry leader in driving quality and innovation.
Healthscope’s portfolio is diverse and includes large high acuity metropolitan hospitals, some co-located with public hospitals, as well as regional and suburban hospitals. Our hospitals provide a range of clinical services including medical, surgical, specialised rehabilitation and mental health.
