Australian hospitals are seeking all nurses and midwives nation wide to come back into the wonderful world of nursing. But before you start thinking about the underpaid, stressful and crazy world of nursing let me assure you that your position will be well rewarded.

 
The Commonwealth Government in accordance with The Department of Health and Ageing is happy to back you up with the provision of $87 million dollars till 2014 to help with the nursing shortage in the private hospital system. 
 

What does this mean to you? 

As part of the deal, each newly recruited nurse/midwife to a Healthscope private hospital  and will receive a bonus of $6,000 over a period of 18 months. (see link below for eligibility conditions).  In addition each hospital will also receive $1,000 for each eligible nurse/midewife to assist with education and support.
